Game Time.

It have been a very boring summer for Katelyn. She was enrolled for another year in Hillsdale. Time to get her books.

She made plans with Ana. They never stopped calling each other during the vacation.

They met up, took their books and went straight to Ana's house.

Ana asked Katelyn to go to her room. They started playing. Kingdom Hearts. Katelyn can't get pass a 'world' so Ana helped her. Ana brought chips and they chit-chatted. Like in school. Talked about how they want to be classmates in the 5th grade and alike.

Katelyn needed to go home. It's almost dark. Ana's dad had to pick her mom up, since she's done for the day's work in the office. Katelyn and Ana continued playing even inside the car. The game's almost done. Well, Sora's mode.

Mrs. Cody rode the car. They dropped Katelyn off. And just like that. The day passed so fast. Maybe it was because Katelyn had so much fun she didn't even realize what time it is.

Recognition.

The school year's almost over. Time for the quarterly examinations. Katelyn together with her other classmates took an earlier test. After taking the tests, they practiced the recognition day. Left their classmates and probably won't see them.

Katelyn would go to school at the given time. She would stay at the gym lobby and line up with Ana, Halley, Teri and other students. Katelyn would start talking with Ana and they would talk about games. Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy. They would talk about how cute the characters are. How Sora looks cool.

The students were asked by the teacher to line up. Katelyn sat in between Sarah Babbit. and Mason Lawrence.

Eat with Halley, Ana or her other friends during breaks. During the practices, they would stand for a long time. They weren't allowed to chit chat.

It was fine, except when they practice at the chapel. Standing for a long time doesn't feel good at all partnered with a hot venue.

It was fun staying at the gym though. While waiting for their turn in the procession, they would play games. Have fun. Even though teachers might scold them. They still did fine.

During the Recognition day itself. Katelyn went to school in the afternoon. Make up applied on her face, new hair style, she was wearing her uniform and to top it all up. Her mother was there. Something as memorable as this in her life, surprisingly her mother was there.

The procession started. Katelyn reached her seat. She behaved well. It was time for them to get their medals. They stood up and walked to the side of the stage. One by one went up the stairs and took their medals from the directress.

Katelyn took hers, her mother beside her. It felt so nice, for at least one time seeing her mother present. For almost 8 years that Katelyn never saw her. She stood beside her and smiled as the cameras flashed.

Party at the Park.

Katelyn went to school as usual. When Anna Cody approached her. A friend of hers. Truth is, she made tons of friends in grade 4.

"You wanna come to my party?" Anna asked. "Sure. When?" "On Saturday." "Where?" " Six Flags."

Saturday Morning. They went to Six Flags. They practically opened Six Flags since they were one of the first people who came. Anna, Katelyn, Sarah Aberdeen, Sydney Macdowell, Brianna Cho, Teri Fletcher and other classmates of Katelyn.

They rode the roller coaster several times. Never grew tired. Or sick of the ride. Everytime they enter a black place, there would always be glow in the dark figures. Then they would pretend that they're scared and scream. Until someone suggested about going to the bump cars.

They did. But well, Katelyn didn't know how. She doesn't go out much. Unlike her sisters. Anyway, they rode the bump cars. Katelyn with Teri at the same bump car. They bought hotdogs, drinks and ate Lunch. Then played the mini games. Such as golf, basketball and more.

They had so much fun. Well Katelyn. They rode the roller coaster again and again. Then the bump cars then the other rides.

It was time to go. Anna's parents would drop them all off to their houses. They chatted inside the car. Talked about Teri's crush on Aaron Samuels. They even made a song. They laughed. Anna's parents sent Katelyn home after Sydney.

Bad Day.

Katelyn attended her classes. Getting more and more annoyed with Benny Stowe. He starts the noise in the class. Making Katelyn's job harder than it already is. So much for being the Vice Prez of the class.

She had too much of Benny and decided to talk to Ms. Frey. Complain about him not doing his job. Ms. Frey called Benny, Katelyn, Teri Fletcher.

Ms. Frey discussed about Benny's attitude. "I'm disappointed in you, to think that I passed your name as a possible representative of your class for the upcoming student council elections." Ms. Frey said as she shook her head. "What?" Benny asked. "That's it. The three of you. I passed your names. Thinking that one of you could represent the class."

What. The. Heck. Katelyn thought. How could Benny possibly lead the batch? He can't even lead the class.

The day had gone normally. Besides Ms. Frey's announcement to the three of them. They went to Ms. Gail. They needed to ask who, exactly is their class' rep for the elections.

"Teri. You go." Katelyn told her. She felt scared. Even though the teacher was kind and all, she's new. Katelyn can't help feeling nervous just thinking about approching her.

Teri finally said yes. She asked Ms. Gail. "Ms. who's the representative for our class?"

Ms. Frey stopped from walking and turned around to see Teri, Katelyn and Benny.

"Hmm.. Just you Teri." Ms. Gail finally said. Without talking to the other two. At least it Benny Stowe wasn't chosen. The irresponsible, annoying, small guy.

Novelty dance.

Katelyn had been able to get used to things in her new class. Knowing her responsibilities as the president. Making her class a little quiet. Since they are as far, the noisiest class in their batch. Sure, making them shut up a little bit is hard, but she was able to do it somehow, no thanks to the vice president Benny Stowe. Mr. Bugs Bunny. He was called that way for his teeth. Basically her 2 front teeth weren't aligned properly or were bigger than the rest or something.

Time flew by fast for Katelyn. Grade 4 had been so fun. Katelyn's section needed to move to the second floor of their building. Their old classroom, would be used as the viewing room for their History class.

Well, it's the month of August. Every August, the school provides certain contests. This year, it's about Novelty songs.

All the classes had their representative to pick out a song. For Katelyn's class, their representative drew Tarzan and Barok. They needed to interpret it threw a dance.

Their teacher Ms. Frey called out for a meeting during their homeroom time. They talked about the story. About two men living in the jungle. Uncivilized. They had their own partners, Tarzan with Jane. Barok with Gundina. They even had their own followers. For Tarzan the animals, for Barok, group of stupid people.

Katelyn played as part of the stupid people. They laughed, the class talked about their costumes. Then started practicing. It was fun, they had some sort of bond with each other. They had teamwork. They gave their ideas, shared and it became successful. They finished everything they had to.

Contest..

Katelyn wore her costume. Tied her hair on a high ponytail. Everything was set. Props done. Everyone was ready. Katelyn sat at the Auditorium nervously. Asking God for a sign. Which she usually do.

Their section performed. They finished and went back to their seats.

Katelyn's eyes started to become teary. Something that always happens during contests. She waited and held her classmates hands. Sort of praying. The judge announced the third placers, then the second.

"Second place goes to..." The judge paused and started again. "Tarzan and Barok."

Katelyn couldn't help but become so happy. The class went up the stage and get their certificate or trophy.

Gerard Truax.

Katelyn after getting into grade 4. Meeting new friends such as Yvonne Stidder. Sitting beside Luke Pradd. She actually got voted as the president, making Yvonne's prediction true. She liked another guy.

Gerard Truax. Thin, tall, white complexion, cool. He was cool besides the fact that he hangs out with little Bugs Bunny, Benny Stowe. But well, he's in a different story. Or post.

He kind of liked singing. Or maybe it was for the grade? Well Katelyn had a subject and the teacher practically asked her to sing. Then asked Gerard to do the same.

It wasn't long until the whole class, even Gerard knew about what Katelyn felt especially because of Sarah Aberdeen. A whole other class found out. What the hell? Katelyn thought. But what else could she do? Nothing. She can't change the fact that they know.

Besides Katelyn's feelings being known by a lot of people, Gerard's crush for Sydney Macdowell didn't stay unknown as well. Well, Katelyn sure felt sad. Partly cause he didn't like her. But mostly cause he liked one of her best friends in Grade 4.

Katelyn didn't take it seriously though. She thought about her friends and prioritized them.
